Why did the Jesus character say that the person whom he followed to Magdelene's bordello was "an angel" from God?
This has always struck me as bizarre, I do not get why he said this? It happened pretty early on in the film, not sure if it was brought up later at all. A very strange vibe/moment. (Yes, this entire film is on entirely on its own level of surrealism, yet this bit really puzzled me the most for some reason)
