I just saw it for the first time yesterday. I was too old for it when it was new, but it really felt like a classic Disney film with it's gentle humor and building credible tension even when you must know all will be good in the end. It's a very sweet, old-fashioned animated kids film, which I enjoyed a lot.

They just put it on Netflix. I rewatched it today. Such a beautiful film.

Diana Ross’s “If we hold on together” at the end, really makes it magic.
