The only good don bluth movie

I cannot believe that the same guy who made a troll in central park and other such nonsense made this movie. TLBT is pure movie magic; why couldn't he make anything else that compares to this?

That's not entirely true.
It's probably the "best" Bluth film, but certainly not the only good one. I think that: "All Dogs go to Heaven", "The Secret of NIMH", "Anastasia" (which is NOT a Disney rip-off!), and "An American Tail" are very good!

"Pebble and the Penguin", and "Rock-A-Doodle" are harmless too, if you give them a chance. ;)

I whole-heatedly disagree. NIMH was an unfocused and confused mess, and all dogs go to heaven and an american tales were poorly acted and depressing. The songs in those two movies were atrocious as well. Anastasia could've been awesome, but anything involving Rasputin at all sucked hard. Pebble and Rock-a-doodle were indeed harmless, but that doesn't stop them from being drivel.

Yeah, I can understand that with most Disney fans. :)

But the only 3 Don Bluth films I HATE so far are: "A Troll in Central Park", "Thumbelina" (unless if you're a little kid), and "Bartok the Magnificent!" >_<

"All Dogs Go To Heaven" may actually surpass "Land Before as my favorite of his movies, but only by narrow margines, as LBT is also one of the best movies I've ever seen, I just liked ADGTH better. "Somewhere Outhere" is also excelent.

I think you're being a little picky. I though Secret of Nimh and All Dogs Go to Heaven were good if not great. An American Tale was good to but not as good.

Although The Land Before Time is my all time favorite Don Bluth film by far, I strongly disagree with it being the only good one. Besides TLBT I also grew up watching All Dogs Go To Heaven and The Secret of NIMH countless of times, and they are both 'movie magic' in my book, just not as much.

Everyone's seeming to forget Titan AE, which was an awesome flick. Nice mix of Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar and Firefly (before the latter two).

I have all kinds of time for Don Bluth; his films were a staple of my youth, and I simply love his animation style. It's much more emotionally affective than Disney I find, and I'm someone who straight-up loves him some Disney.
