For some reason it's not [spoiler]'s actual death that sets me off...

I cry at sad scenes in movies - I don't find anything wrong with that.

Littlefoot's Mother's death is a sad moment for me, and all though it effects me, I don't seem to actualy cry during the actual death itself. There's a scene later on where Littlefoot sees what he thinks is his mother, and it turns out to be just a shadow - for some reason that is what get's me, I'm not sure why, but I just find it a sad scene...

that scene gets me too every time

Both scenes get me :(, the way Littlefoot sounds so hopeful when he thinks he sees his mother is heart-breaking :/.

Can't rain all the time...

Yes, that is very VERY sad! I also get cracked up when "Rooter" is so nice to him explaining it is no ones fault. Oh forget it, it all gets me!

What tends to make me cry is seeing other characters cry (yes, even in cartoons), so when Littlefoot breaks down and starts to sob in front of Rooter, my own eyes well up too... every time. This is one of the saddest cartoons ever but I absolutely adore it...

"Do you want it?" YES, Jareth!

Same here, even hearing the music by itself and picturing Littlefoot running up to the shadow, and nuzzling the wall makes me well up
