Movie about involving child murder and molestation
rated pg-13 ;)
Also I keep seeing people say this was a childhood movie for them. Jesus, this would have traumatized me if I saw it as a kid. This ain't a kid's movie.

I saw it in theaters at the age of 12. It was advertised all over Nickelodeon. I remember seeing interviews with the kid actors on a tv show called “Don’t Just Sit There.” The actress who played the little girl spoke of playing a ghost and how she filmed in front of a special screen. I remember the murder of her scared me. I didn’t understand about the kids being molested until I was about 15 or 16. I think a lot of the movie went over my head. It definitely comes across as a family friendly mocie early on.
shareThat is incredibly weird. I never even heard of the movie until now.
Seriously, Nickelodeon? The fuck?
Yep. Don’t Just Sit There was a tv show where teens interviewed actors and actresses. I think they also interviewed people featured in the news but it was all aimed at kids and young teens. But as for the movie content a lot of movies back then didn’t sugar coat things. There are many movies or tv show made for kids that would have parents in an uproar today. Look at Punky Brewster. An old single man adoptes an 8yr old girl. He’d be called a pervert today. Our world today is too picky and sensitive.
shareI hear people say this, but a lot of older movies were censored.
shareI saw it many years ago and remember it being genuinely scary. It’s stuck with me!
shareAh, the '80s.
