I think the grandparents were the best part of this movie. Any scene they were in made me laugh so hard. Much of this movie doesn't hold up very well in my opinion but the scenes with them are just classic.

Ignore the smoke.

They're a great addition. Their humor added a nice balance to the film. But I think the story, performances and suspense still hold up quite well.

The only weak link is the special effects.

They are wonderful! They kinda remind me of the grandparents in The Waltons. Grandma always fussing at Grandpa. My grandparents were the same way.
