Best DVD release
According to DVD Compare.net http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=1777 the best DVD release is the R0 Hong Kong by IVL.
shareAbsolutely right! I know because I have it! Screw the HKL disc. HKL's version has been cropped on all 4 sides and squeezed vertically while IVL's disc has the OAR and a gorgeous transfer. Also worth mentioning is that IVL's version is the extended Japanese cut that runs about 20 minutes longer. The audio has been beefed up with a Dolby and DTS 5.1 sound. Pretty bad-ass!

You could spend about US$40 on the box set or look for the single disc China reprint from Zoke on ebay. I've seen it go for as low as $0.01!
