It would appear that this version of the movie has never been released on home video. Does anyone know how one could obtain a copy?

I have an old recording on VHS - BUT I THINK I LOST IT!! I need to look harder - I recorded it off of TV back in 1988 and I used to rewatch it all the time - we showed it in my 8th grade science class (I was a student) - since it seems that it can't be found I'll have to hunt harder for it.

What hump?

This version is not nearly as good as either the Spencer Tracy/Frederic March or the Jack Lemmon/George C. Scott versions, but deserves to be on video. Is someone out there listening?

I also have it an a VHS, which I recorded over from Beta-max. I even have the pre-amble by Cliff Robertson himself (the tv movie was sponsored by AT&T). I will indeed make a DVD of it soon. Would be nice to have one commercially available, but I seriously doubt it will happen...

I happened to check on the Tracy version and remembered that there were other ones done for TV and found this thread. In checking, it appears to be available for viewing via Amazon.
