Excellent film-rough transfer

I wonder why while Starstruck and My Brilliant Career look so great on DVD High Tide is so rough. And both of the aforementioned films were released BEFORE High Tide. Weird.

Anyway, had wanted to see this for awhile and was NOT disappointed. Armstrong is one hell of a film director. That ending scene had me ecstatic! That's f'n filmmaking, man!

Just watched it on Amazon Prime & it looked very good. Not quite HD, but it was widescreen & pretty good detail and few imperfections in the film. The credits did look very cheap, but I think that was the case for a lot of lower budget 80s films.
