why is it the recap at the start that shows the the end of the 1st film more uncut than it is at the end of the 1st film mainly the part when frank gets ripped apart by the hooks , this always bugged me as it would be possible to splice in the gorier shots back into the 1st film instead of the abrupt jump cut

you will have to forgive the lack of full stops lack of proper spelling im dyslexic but not stupid

Cos they are 2 seperate films.
Ergo they each underwent 2 different edits and 2 different observations via the censors.

The 2 films being sequel/prequel to each other is irellevant.
