Actually, a question: he says at one point that it is desire that calls us, yet apparently Kirsty called them and they won't leave her alone, but she did not call them from desire, only by accident (the first time), and has no desire to see them. Issue, or am I missing something?

Yeah. Pinhead's excuse for not immediately flaying Tiffany is kinda flimsy. He seemed perfectly willing to take Kirsty in the first film. Maybe it was because Tiffany was underage.
