That poor kid. At least Laurie was in her upper teens when Michael went after her and she was able to get away from him and have a normal life with her husband and daughter. This poor kid loses her mom and dad then her foster family and then is kidnapped and tormented by Michael for the rest of her life until he kills her. Honestly it would have been better if he had killed her at the end of Halloween 5 instead of her having the fate she did. Before I saw Curse of Michael Myers I would not have guessed he kidnapped her. I thought maybe he simply took off to save himself from being found again. Eventually Jamie would be found and taken into another foster home eventually. And she would be followed by Myers again sometime in the future. Btw who was the father of Jamie's baby. Ugh don't tell me it's Myers kid.

Theatrical Cut: Implication that the baby is a possible result of an in-vitro fertilization experiment by the Cult, possibly trying to clone Michael. There are dead babies, failed experiments, kept in fish tanks with what looks like DNA coding mixed with runes. If they’re not the result from some of the female patients, I’d say they’re all possibly Jamie’s, as if her life wasn’t already a living hell. Whether if Michael or something/someone else is used in this process is unknown.

Producer’s Cut: Michael Myers is 100% the baby’s Duncle.

Absolutely right. From a wholly unhappy and traumatic childhood to one gruesome ending. Even though it began with her mother, the minute Michael walked into Jamie’s life is when nothing was ever the same for her.

She is far and away the most tragic character in the series.

I hate the very ending of Halloween 5 when Michael has escaped and you hear her reaction. Her knowing that it's never going to end for her.

I love the Halloween series, part 4 being my favorite, and I didn't hate Halloween 5, I like it, actually, but there are some things I would change. *Spoilers for part 5*

1. Rachel lives

2. I would take away the psychic connection between Jamie and Michael

3. I wouldn't have Dr. Loomis be such a jerk

4. Michael finally gets killed. Jamie manages to break through his evil, and Dr. Loomis kills him once and for all

5. Jamie and Rachel get a happy ending
