Somehow missed this one

I was a teen/early 20s in the 80s, but I somehow missed this one. Just watched it for the first time and enjoyed it. It’s got a few laughs and its heart is in the right place. 6.5 out of 10.

I remember this one well. It must have been played a lot on a station that we always had tuned into on our TV. The funniest parts to me were the scenes with the bat and the raccoons.

Not sure what Chet’s son saw in that local girl, that had the personality of a barracuda (And if you’ve ever met one of those, you’ll find that they make for terrible conversation partners :D ) Though admittedly, she was cute. Ahh, so that's what he saw in her :D

I'm with you on this one don't know how I missed it back in the days only to find out about the film this year !
Nice film they were really jumping on those vacation films back in the days there's so many of them.
