Where was this actually filmed?

Does anyone know where this movie was actually filmed? There is nothing during the end credits that tells that information.

This movie, according to VermontFilms.com, was filmed in Grafton, Townshend, and Windsor Vermont.

The house was in Grafton, antigue shop and resturant (specially built) were in Townshend. The lake was in Windsor. I lived in the area and watched quite a bit of the filming and met a lot of people involved. Two side notes. At a store in Windsor they put up a poster wanting extras for the ball game that had to have significant midrifts and they filmed the winter scenes when the leaves were still on the trees in Townshend so they sprayed them with something to appear snow covered. The next spring the leaves did not come back and the movie company had to make good.

...and then again, maybe not... I HATE when threads end like this !
Dude/Dudess - can't you take a second to respond to the question ?

:-)

Then I wonder - maybe the person posted his/her comment and then went out and was hit by a bus or something. Might explain the "no reply".

The house is as shown in the movie up a long private road. I came down from Claremont NH to watch filming in Townshend and was there when they shot the car knocking Christmas tree over. I met set designer (Bumstead), Chevy Chase and Jack Gilpen among others.
