Any idea what those actually were that he was eating?

I've always been curious and i could never find anything that told me what they were.

I was wondering what they actually were, not what they were in the movie.

I'm sure Brussels sprouts covered in brown sauce was what he was eating. There is no such thing as eating, well, lamb fries. However, I didn't know how to spell "Brussels sprouts", and went to Wiki to find out. Just for fun I put in Lamb Fries. You would not believe what is there...! :O Go to Wiki and try it! :D

I know there are mountain oysters, Bull testicles fried up to eat, so I assume there really are Lamb Fries.

They were supposed to be sheep balls (fried). I have a feeling in reality he was eating yams or something like that. That was my favorite scene, when he breaks the record and then finds out what it is, spits out the one in his mouth and runs to the john. I'll bet Bill Gaines wouldn't have cared.

I always thought they were just mushrooms without the stems in gravy. They looked like Puffball Mushrooms.
