Yellow Dog and The Frying Pan

When Yellow Dog has the bone in his mouth and Elizabeth hits him over the head with the pan just cracked me up, not animal cruelty or anything but that dogs face was priceless when he looked up at her with the pan. Innocent Dog eyes...

That scene was great, Yellow Dog was awesome, he had funnier scenes than Chevy imo.

How about when Chevy moved Yellow Dog's tail from the fire place? LOL!!!

He's probably out chasing deer in the field.. I laughed out loud at his delivery on that one. Also when the first dog ran away minutes after he bought it. "Hey!, Hey, Dog!"

"Now the whole world's gonna know that you died scratching my balls"

reply

Yeah, then like every other scene you see that first dog running through in the distance. HILARIOUS! I hadn't seen this movie in awhile and caught it on cable this morning. It is very underrated. We loved it in college.

Actually, I think it was:
"Oh, he's probably out scaring up some game" - meaning doing what a bird dog does; Flushes the bird(s) out of the brush - ok, ummm, scares the birds into taking flight at which point the hunter takes aim and fires in the attempt to bag some game for eating.

Its just such a perfect hokey line.

"The pipe is a bit much". Love it.

That scene almost finished me off. I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital. I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw the comic genius in that scene. Priceless. That dog actually had expression through his LACK of expression if anyone else can see the irony in that.

Awesome movie.

My favorite line was.... "Cue the deer" ..... every time I see a deer running passed me (I live in the country)....I yell "Cue the deer" LOL LOL

reply

Yes !! Hysterical !!

Even better is his next appearance, with those eyes again, but now he's got an ice pack tied to his head with a ribbon.

"Yellow Dog doesn't even know what town he's in!"

We adopted a dog a year ago and I tried as hard as I could to get my wife to agree to calling her yellow dog but she wouldn't have it. Yellow dog is the best thing in the film.

This discussion is hilarious! Everything relating to Yellow Dog is so golden!

This is my goal in life, to have a yellow lab named Yellow Dog.
