Question about the ending
It's been a long time since I saw this movie. I just read a review of Ken Russell's ALTERED STATES that mentioned that film has a similar ending to FRANTIC. Can somebody please remind me how FRANTIC ends?

He sets up an exchange with the kidnappers. The detonator for his wife.
His wife runs back to him while Michelle, holding the detonator asks for the money she never got for smuggling it from the kidnappers.
The American agents following the kidnappers interrupt. They shoot one kidnapper. The other one uses Michelle as a hostage. Harrison gets him from behind and they struggle. Michelle is shot and dies.
Harrison throws the detonator in the river instead of giving it back to the American agents.
