i thought she was hot after the movie so i checked who is she after seeing she is married to a rapist pedophile she lost all the sex appeal :{

She was like my 3rd exposure to French women, the first being Sylvia(sp?) the hot MILF brunette from the Emmanuelle series and the second being Brigette Bardot. Mmmm, some fine yummy women! Emammanuelle Seigner may be older now but she is still one fine actress.

Why was she so great in this movie and so horrible in Ninth Gate? I thought she was a stick of wood until I saw Frantic.

Because Ninth Gate was Polanski's weakest film. Even super-hot Emm couldn't have saved it.

She's got a TON of european exoticism and sex appeal in this film. that dance scene where she's moving all around, gyrating her hips in that smoking, tight red dress... no wonder polanski fell in love with her. and he's a genius filmmaker, so no wonder she fell for him, 33 year age difference or not...
