Is it just me or did he look just like Charles Manson?

He even had a satchel! He's like Zach's mini-me.

That scene is really great. It's a fantastic red herring. When Ford goes off with him we start to worry. Is he going to get kidnapped too? Is he going to believe this unreliable drunk? Get out of there! It's a fantastic scene.

As Polanski's first wife Sharon Tate was slaughtered by Manson and his followers, I'd say this is not a coincidence on the director's part.

It's Dominique Pinon, who's in all the Jeunet films.
