The Old Woman Character...

I don't know why, but when Ernest disguises himself as an old lady in that green dress and neck brace I lose it every time. Loved it as a kid, and even more as an adult. My favorite line in this movie is when he (she) tells the receptionist (who's been making excuses for the old lady's supposed delinquet son):

"Don't side with him, honey, there's no future in it..."

Mr. Varney was a talented man. Wish more people saw the value in the very earnest "Ernest" character he created.

"This red planet means more to me, now, than your blue one..."

Haha that was an awesome scene. I also loved the snake handler scene.

Agreed, I always loved those bits. BTW, that character's name is Auntie Nelda.

I loved that brief scene in scared stupid where she says a woman's work is never done.

*dryly* "Oh my, I'm afraid." "Though some of us are very tired."
