shareI am usually not vocal about remakes, though have been deeply disappointed by many (such as RoboCop and Total Recall). But this film should not be remade! It was a simple classic which worked in every way and, unless a miracle occurs, I can't see how modernising it will be any more enjoyable, even if it is kept in the 1980s era. But of course it may appeal to a new generation of moviegoers.

shareYeah but, this film is itself a remake and as I remember the David Niven & Marlon Brando Bedtime Story is the better film.
shareIt was bad. I like Rose. She has good comedy sense (watch Spy or Bridesmaids). This was not one of her good ones. It covers nearly all of the beats of the original without being funny (I will admit that I got 2 laughs from some original content though)
