shareNo one knows its become the stuff of legends in the land of DownUnder, maybe she did-maybe she didnt, maybe he(Mike) did it, maybe the old codger was telling the truth, that said he shot a dingo with a baby in its mouth. Struth for all the boys in blue know Uluru did it(thats Ayers Rocks- for all the Yanks reading this.)
shareactually, for anyone reading it, its AZARIA's rock...considering...in respect for the baby.
And this is the car that Jeremy had chosen....because he's an idiot.~Top Gear
Since when? I have never heard Uluru referred to as Azaria's rock. It was Ayers Rock, it is now recognised by it's aboriginal name of Uluru. Actually it officially has both names, I still call it Ayer's Rock, but that's just out of habit, as that is what it was called for the first 15 years of my life, and that is what I was taught in school.
It's a tragedy that little Azaria died there, but she is not the only one. To single her out and rename the rock after her, when more than 35 others have also died there is ridiculous. Where is their respect?
You're Perfect Yes It's True.... But Without Me You're Only You
I agree with the above poster. 1: Uluru has NEVER been known as "Azaria's Rock" - that was a line spoken by Sam Neil in the movie "Evil Angels"
2: For ALL who want to find out for themselves - the 4th inquest has just concluded and the findings will be handed down in the next few months. Lindy's story, all the truth and facts - and full explanation of the many ridiculous lies that were spread around the world which clouded the whole devastating reality far more than what the family endured - please go to the SOURCE - lindychamberlain.com
3: Lies go around the world while truth is still putting its boots on. Books and movies dont change the REAL events of people's lives. If my friend Reagan had ever been allowed to state what he saw and felt on the 17th of August 1980 when the dingo walked over his back to get to his little sister we'd all be in a very different place now - of all the many things I know about this case its just still SO very sad to know HE was ignored just because he was 4 at the time. 32 years on he still has memories of what happened.

In Lindy's final appeal the Court accepted that the child had been taken by an animal.
