Azaria Vs the missing Beaumont children
possibly we care so much about their fate because their disappearances are indicative not only of every parents worst nightmare, but of the subconscious fear we all have about ourselves, and our loved ones. That when we die we in effect simply vanish without trace, and nobody will ever be able to "find" us either. We'll just vanish, disappear, exactly like Azaria Chamberlain and Jane, Arnna and Grant Beaumont. We'll join them in that unsolved mystery which is death. When we wonder, "What really happened to vanishing children like the three Beaumonts and Azaria? Where are they now? Are they happy?" (hoping that they ARE) maybe we also are wondering, "What will happen when we die? Where will we go, and will we be happy too?"
There's my melancholy reflection for the night.
