Sure has changed since the 80's
This movie contains violence, blood and gore, language(the f word is used more than once) and nudity. Things sure are different now.

shareTook me a minute to figure out what you were getting at, then I saw the PG-13 rating. Yeah, no way that would get that rating today.
We all fall down...

Yeah, this movie would have been R these days, sadly. I don't recall the F word, though...

Hey do not knock the 80's! I would rather be watching movies of the 80's than todays movies! Todays movies are missing the true grittiness of what the 80's would show.
Plus, if you look at todays movies there are less Rated R movies than what there were in the 80's. All of todays movies are rated G, PG, or more like PG-13. Todays movies do not show as much either like they did in the 80's.
I am 35 years old and loved the movies from the 70's and 80's. Todays movies are awful and all they want to do is squeeze in the younger crowd to make more money where as in the 80's they did not try to do that at all.
The 80's were better than today!

You made some very good points about the 80's or the movies back then you know. I remember going to see family horror movies back in the day.

Well said! But I think most of the younger viewers KNOW this and watch eighties movies as a preference. Just look at the commentaries on eighties movies uploaded to YouTube.

I am glad that you like my comment on what I said and you are correct about todays generation watching movies from the 80's. You also have to look at what they show on TV now compared to back in the 80's. It seemed as if the programming was a lot better than what it is today. I will have to check out Youtube and hear some of those things that they say on the commentaries.

Except for shows like "Lost" and eighties re-boots like "V", I watch nothing new that is put on television. Fortunately we have websites like Hulu that has many of those great eighties shows. I suspect today's generation are into those shows as well. Although, I'm not sure about that. But the movies, it's all thumbs up!

You are correct about that! I do not watch Lost though or do I watch the reboot from the 80's of V.

Indeed. Everything has gone down the crapper. Especially music.
shareyep ... it sucks that for us metal fans "new great bands" is a term lost in time ... the genre has really lacked any fresh blood carrying the flag, ...
but yeah I guess you can say the same for almost every whorty genre in music as in movies.
