Should they do a sequel to this movie?
I heard Eddie and Arsenio talking about doing a sequel to this movie.

No.
shareI don't know, I can only see it going badly even though it might be interesting to see a sequel about their daughter coming to America and be a gender reversed version...but then again maybe not.
What I do want 100% is Coming to America to become a Broadway musical like Book of Mormon

I can't see how they can do a sequel. The cat is out of the bag. I guess his grown kid could be coming to America like he did but I doubt it would be nearly as funny.
Jesus NEVER existed! He is Judeo Christian MYTH!
No point in doing a sequel and its being 27 years since this one
shareIt's not unprecedented, even after all that time, many with decades in between.
Dumb and Dumber To...Star Wars....The Exorcist...Mad Max...Tron....Slap Shot...The Hustler...Wall Street...2001 A Space Odyssey..Independence Day...and on and on and on. Almost all were ill-advise sequels.
With Hollywood out of original ideas, they have no problem going back to the well of a known entity and huge hit.
Not to mention, when the actors have burned thru the majority of the money they earned, they are strangely more than happy to throw integrity aside and reprise old roles for a big check.
Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?
Why?
shareNo, hell no. Sequels to successful movies always seem to fall flat, with the exception of The Godfather part 2.
shareAfter all these years? NO!
Rated R Horror movies are better, no matter the argument.
If the actors and everyone else involved feel that there's a new story to tell in that universe then they can do what they like. I think it'll be great but hey if it's not I can still go back to the original and enjoy it just as I always have.
