I like cocktail and I give it 7/10 because it flows smoothly from the first scene to last. It's entertaining and it has the style of the 80, it has emotions. Movies like coyote ugly are just a bunch of situations one after the other, and at the end you feel like you've just watched a very sad movie.

I wouldn't even consider them together - Coyote Ugly is possibly one of the worst films ever. It makes me feel queasy just thinking about it. Euurgh. But, all the same, you're right!

Despite of being the Worst Film in 1988 by Razzie, some 80's fans would consider Cocktail a classic. Coyote Ugly is not even mentioned by movie viewers after years of release.
