I met Nathan Forest Winters...

My sister went to high school with and was good friends of Nathan Winters.

I met him back in like 1991 after already seeing the movie and was slightly starstruck, even though he was a bit older with long hair and dressed in the early nineties grunge clothes.

Don't know what he's up to now.

I loved this movie when it came out, a great cult classic

I hope he's doing well, wherever he is.
And all the little kids who were
hurt by that bastard.

reply

Victor Salva didn't molest more than 1 kid, you complete moron!

reply

Don't you think one is as bad as 100?One is enough to castrate him and lock him awat forever. Ask the victim, you complete moron!

reply

That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

Phil only hit one kid with his car on purpose you complete moron!

reply

That is one of the dumbest statements I've ever heard in my life. I suppose you'd hand out a "one free kid" pass?

reply

what someone has done in the past is not who they are now. He went to jail as a pedo and served 15 months, while that is a short sentence he was probably only released because they felt he no longer was a serious threat. There has been no charges since then so I think he deserves the second chance that we all deserve after we have suffered for our crimes

reply

You are really naive, but I don't know if he was paroled after fifteen months or if he was sentenced to only fifteen months I really wonder how much they worked with him while he was away. The problem is, while I'm hoping he does have people in his life who help to keep him away from children, is that those feelings never go away. Pedophiles have to struggle every day not give in to those desires. Just because there have been no charges doesn't mean he hasn't done anything illegal, but I hope he hasn't. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve a second chance, but don't act like it's not understandable why people wouldn't be able to enjoy this movie anymore.

People who rape and molest children don't deserve second chances.

But Nathan was willing...

You, sir, are an idiot

reply

He should do the Horror convention circuit. I'd like to meet him but can't say I'd be starstruck I mean the dude's only done like 2 things.

reply

Yeah, I'm sure he'd LOVE to talk about this movie to crowds of people. "Hey, guys, let's talk about the fun times I had while shooting Clownhouse. Y'know, that film on whose set I was molested by the director when I was 12! Okay, who has the first question?" Yup, I really can see him going to conventions and promote Victor Salva's films there.

Did Nathan go to Clayton High School? I would like to learn more about him.

reply

Nathan Forrest Winters was very solid and sympathetic as Casey. It's a genuine shame that he didn't go on to a bigger acting career.

Q: What's the biggest room in the world? A: The room for improvement.

I do hope he's ok also, it is a shame because I thought he did a good job, particularly in this movie.

reply

i wonder how many would believe in second chances if it was their child hurt by that sob

reply

I was referring to Nathan, not that specimen.

And a clean pair of shorts

reply

Anyways, I thought he was a cute kid. I was the same age as him at the time so it's okay to say that right?

I hated the older brother, such a jerk.

I don't blame Nathan for never wanting to talk about the movie it's still a bummer, though, one of the coolest things about DVD releases is seeing the actors as they are now in the featurettes and stuff.

It's a sad thing that your adventures have ended here

reply

Francis Ford Coppola had him blacklisted from movies, that's why he never worked again,

reply

is that true

you will have to forgive the lack of full stops lack of proper spelling im dyslexic but not stupid

That is such bullp00...its true Coppolla visited with Salva almost WEEKLY while he was encarcerated, but never did he bring any malice to the abused kid by black listing him!

Your just making $h!t up now!
