I guess it depends on how old you are; back then, when i was about 8-10, this movie scared the hell out of me... now, it doesn't; but it's very fun watching it nevertheless.

I watched this movie when I was about 11. I've always loved horror movies and my dad called me one night to watch it with him. It was about 11 pm. He fell asleep but I just needed to keep watching. Scariest movie I've seen in my life and I was not scared of clowns. I had nightmares for like a month and was deadly scared of going to bed because I kept seeing the clowns when they open the door to the brothers' house. That is the creepiest part of the film for me. Ever since then I've just developed coulrophobia. I'm 21 now and I still can't watch the movie again. I can't see clowns at all. I'm just terrified to death of them... maybe it was because I was little when I watched it but heck I think this is the creepiest movie ever.

I seriously cry when I see clowns now.

It's not as scary as Blood Lake.

Blood Lake? I think your scale of horror is skewed. Blood Lake is like someone's Film School homework project.
