Only 6.6? Seriously?

This film deserves a rating in the 7's without question. Great performances all around and a compelling look at addiction/recovery. Michael Keaton was fantastic.

I dunno, it didn´t really show much in a way of addiction - or recovery. I suppose the moments of Keaton´s after-rehab boredom rang true, but otherwise the movie´s rather unsteady, aimless and styleless. Good thing it doesn´t get outright preachy, at least.

I didn't "expect" anything. I simply think it's worthy of a higher rating - sue me.

I agree with everything you've said. Great feedback, thanks.

Agreed. Excellent direction by Glenn Gordon Caron and some very good performances by the cast, especially Michael Keaton who is so versatile an actor. Its just a sad story because so many people and families have to face dealing with addiction.
