opinions on Maggie (the babysitter)?

I have read comments about people claiming that she was a bitch who deserved to die but I've never thought she was such an unlikable person, I also felt bad for her that she got killed by Chucky, I do have to admit she can be a bit obnoxious but I've never thought she was totally mean to Andy.

I liked her. She didn't deserve to die, but you actually couldn't blame her death on Chucky. He only hit her with the hammer, she threw herself out the window.

reply

I didn't think she was a bitch, but her death was certainly one of the funniest events in this very funny movie.

reply

It was an assisted suicide.

reply

Haha. At she threw herself out the window. I see it as the impact from the blow she took from the hammer made her take that big tumble.

reply

She was a little outspoken but she was also a really good friend to Karen. I liked her.

She was probably a lot stricter with Andy than his mother was.

She wasn't mean, she really did believe that Andy was lying to her. It's not like she told Andy she was going to tell his mom that he lied or beat him for what Chucky did, she just sent him to bed two minutes earlier than he was going to go. Hell,if Chucky hadn't killed her she'd have probably forgot all about the incident and went about her life.

I like after that exchange that she had with no tooth Mcgee she comments "I think I dated him." haha.

reply

She grabbed his arm and yank him from the bathroom. Look like she was holding it way too tight.

reply

Maggie wasn't mean, i agree. She was just a little strict.

reply

She did handle chuckle a little rough though. Not cool.

reply

I liked her. Certainly I can't say that she deserved to die, a manical killer took her life, after all

reply

I agree Maggie wasn't the most likeable person. She was way too pushy and obnoxious. Sure she was a good friend to Karen and she helped out with the babysitting, but she was a tad too strict with Andy and she treated Chucky like a rag doll (no pun). That being said she didn't deserve to be smacked in the face with a hammer or thrown out of a window.
