What scene always scared you the most as a child

I know we all have a certain scene in this movie that terrified us as a child and kinda stuck with us throughout our childhood but I have two scenes that scared me the most the one when the mother found out Chucky was operating without batteries and the scene when Chucky was inside the detective car trying to stab him! These two scenes always stuck with me.

I actually watched this movie as a teenager. Two scenes that are pretty creepy are the batteries scene you mentioned (THAT was a tense lead up) and the scene where Andy can see Chucky climbing up the steps of the kids' nuthouse trying to get him.

I notice your English gets better when you want something.

Yes! I completely forgot about the scene when Chucky was climbing up the stairs. That was a scary moment too!

The part where you first see him burnt up

When Chucky confronted John (VooDoo Man) that scene use to creep me out. Imagine a living Doll cursing you out and torture you with a Voodoo Doll.

I always got a little creeped out at the end when Chucky trips Andy and says "Hello Andy" and the way he lifts the knife and slowly walks towards Andy as Andy is crawling backwards quietly saying "mommy".

The scene where Chucky gets to Andy's room at the asylum. Then you realize what a smart little s**t Andy is and realize the kid's going to be okay. When that kid knows Chucky's coming, he really ups his game.

The same one you said. The one where the batteries fall out and he is still talking.

"Sometimes life hands you lemons that are worth 2 in the bush, I like kittens."

Strangely I got through most of the movie without getting too scared. It was at the very end when he burst out of the vent at the police officer that I finally got so scared I had to leave the room.

The burnt/melted Chucky scene, definitely. He looked a lot like Tar Man from The Return of the Living Dead (which also just got a Scream Factory re-release).
