His face looks really human compared to how it looked in the 2nd and 3rd films. I mean he really looks creepy and the poor CGI in 1988 makes him scarier than he looked in CP2 and CP3. I mean look how f-cking creepy he looks in the first film compared to the other 5 films.

that is why the first film will always be unique. never liked that they dropped the transformation process out in the sequels. had they stuck with it in all the films, nowadays you could literally put Brad Dourif's face onto the doll.
they didnt use CGI in the film. it is all animatronics.
So CGI was done for the 5 sequels, right!

'Bride of Chucky' was the first to utilize CGI, but even then it was only used for the scene where Chucky is crawling along the sidewalk. in 'Seed of Chucky' it was used to hide the wiring so that you could get different camera angles of each doll in certain sequences. in 'Curse of Chucky' they now have wireless remotes and mechanisms to control Chucky for the majority of scenes.though when the CGI is used for those quick and heavy action sequences, they used a CGI Chucky that is quite obvious and onscreen for a few seconds.

shareEspecially when he's set ablaze and burnt to a crisp. Seeing the exposed metal in the hands which become almost like claws... and that unforgettable shot of him nearly towering over Andy in the dark hallway with his knife raised high while still steaming from the fire.
I'm with RAD here. The part where Chucky is still alive after he's been burned and is wandering around, charred to a crisp and with exposed metal is pretty scary and is always one of 2 scenes I graphically remember from the film. The other is the woman falling out the window on to the car.
I had my first Chucky dream in years last night. He was attacking me with a chainsaw so I kicked it out his hand, squished his eyes into his head and reversed the voodoo spell, condemning him to Hell.
