Classic Splatter!

Ok this film is way too good, im a Henenlotter fan, love all his films, (all 5 of them) but this his the best, 80's horror at its total gore drenched splattery best, am i the only guy out there who only will watch films just for gore and graphic bloodletting? as people say that does not make a film good my response is screw you its all about the gore, if you dont agree with me why the hell are you looking at a gore classic form the 80's on the IMDB?
any other fans out there, and splatter addicts please reply as its always good to have fellow gore hounds to talk with.

Brain Damage is a good film for many reasons but to like a film only for gore? That sounds childish to me....

I'm inclined to agree. When gore's inventive, it's fun (like in Freddy and Jason films) but when it's truly realistic, it's unsettling and creepy (Devil's Rejects). The gore in "Brain Damage" is on the fun side... however, I discovered the film years ago on American VHS, which was chopped to hell and didn't include much gore. So obviously it wasn't the gore that made me a fan of the film....

I agree, this film is fantastic for being a low budget horror classic, it's great fun, offbeat, has a great story and of course the gore too, which is really cool!!! But if you're just a gorehound who just wants to see non stop gore and loads of blood and guts etc, then look no further than the "Violent Sh*t" movies.

How is that childish, grow up.

And there is next to no gore in "freddy and jason films"

This movie doesn't have enough gore man, honestly.

The only movie that had the gore it promised was Braindead. But even that could've went further!

If you want gore watch Romero's Day of the Dead, it features Tom Savini's best ever splatter fx work! It's full of disembowelings, throat ripping, decapitations, finger biting, flesh chewing, bullet hits, etc. :)

I was actually disappointed by the lack of gore in this...
