I just saw this movie again, the Aylmer creature was great. Definitely the only reason to appreciate the film, and why I would show it to others who haven't seen it. I was wondering why there is no "voice of Aylmer" credit at the end. I'm surprised there hasn't been a sequel to this movie.
There is, you just have to scroll to the bottom of the cast list. The voice of Aylmer is John Zacherle. He's done a few horror gigs in his time (one being Frankenhooker).
If it's been fifteen years or more, it's no longer a spoiler.
Zacherle was not listed because this was a non-union picture and he would have gotten into trouble with Screen Actor's Guild for doing it so his name had to be removed from the credits. To make up for that, Henenlotter gave him a small, credited role in Frankenhooker, which WAS a union picture.
