Hadn't seen it since I was a kid. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this was one obscure movie that held up over time. I also love the dirty, grittiness of it. Hollywood just won't make movies like this anymore. Even the new Conan looked more like an underwear model than a warrior.
shareYEah same here, I saw this once when I was a kid at the children's hospital that I was staying at but totally forgot about it until it finally appeared again on HBO. It is available on HBO right now via on demand or the HBO GO app/program as well. EXCELLENT FLICK! I was very surprised how good this movie was after watching it again for the first time since I was a kid. I wish there were more films like this and once again Rutger Hauer is *beep* awesome.
