I believe it was dishonorable discharge...if your fellow soldiers didn't beat the life out of you first.
share"Does anyone know what the penalty was back in 1945 for homosexuality in the military?"
In 1945? Summary Execution. No trial, no appeal.
coxm-1,
Bullsh!t. There would be a court-martial, followed by a prison sentence and/or dishonorable separation from the service, if a guilty verdict was returned. Since only one soldier in WWII was executed for desertion in the face of the enemy (a much more serious offense than homosexuality) I'd like you to cite one source that supports your bullsh!t claim. Can't name one? I thought not. Liar.
"She was a long, tall, authentic blonde. I loved her as much as I loved my .45..."
Moron.
'Then' and 'than' are different words - stop confusing them.
