It said this movie was rated R. It can't be. I saw it when I was younger and I would never be allowed to watch an R movie when I was a kid. It didn't even have anything that I can remeber that would qualify as a R movie. Am I right or wrong?

What said the movie is rated R? It is rated PG, and has been rated PG ever since its release in 1988. Go straight to the association (the MPAA) that gives the movies ratings at www.mpaa.org/movieratings/search/index.htm

Where did you see that rating? I agree, I was in the eighth grade and saw this movie with my brother and a friend, so it could not have been R rated. Besides, I don't recall anything that would have deserved such a rating in this movie.

Interestingly enough, I watched this movie today on Encore. It came up as R. I find no reason to come up as R either.
