Not the actual opening scene but the early scenes where we're introduced to the Dragon Ladies - Sadie Shelton and Miranda Priestly. They're both eerily similar!
shareI watched Gene Wilder and Donald Sutherland in "Start the Revolution without Me" and it is the exact kind of pretext that "Big Business" has. Twins mixed up after one high class and one bumpkin family giving birth at the exact same time in a small town doctor office.
This movie, however, was years before Big Business, so I have to give them credit with the twin switch concept.
You're right..I think it more closely resembled the opening scene to the new Sandra Bullock movie The Proposal with all the employees scrambling and such..both hilarious.

actually, the way sadie hides her head under the hat until that very last moment when the elevator opens proves that devil wears prada was paying homage to this movie...
