Did Roone think it was weird

That when he found Rose at the Plaza she didn't tell him to sleep in her room room b/c Roone had no room?

reply

No, Roone as well as the Ratliffe sisters have high morals. I believe they would consider "shackin' up" to be something very inappropriate. They would never think it proper for he and Rose to sleep together when they weren't married and that Sadie is also sleeping in the same room (the next bed) too.

But then why would Sadie say something along the lines of "I hate making love to men in the back of a recreational vehicle"?

"Screws fall out all the time, the world is an imperfect place."

reply

That is trying to imply that's what country folk do and Sadie would rather be in a penthouse in the sky.

She also said "make love" not screw or *beep*

reply

Right because any way you look at it, "making love" in the back of a car is soooo classy.

"Screws fall out all the time, the world is an imperfect place."

reply

Or maybe they're saying Sadie is so not like the Ratliffs that she does actually sleep with men in the back of rec vehicles? :)

reply

Making love once meant making out.

There's a difference between living together unmarried and recreational sex. And Sadie is looser than Rose, the real Ratliff.

Just sitting there among the zinnias, but the old Chinese man sold it to me anyways. For $1.95.
