THEIR BOYFRIENDS!

It's too bad that Rose and Sadie did not end up with the same guys they started with. The sisters got each others' men. TWISTED!

I noticed that!! I had always wondered if that was a mistake or if thats what they meant to happen. I think thats just weird!

The ending could have been better. Bette Midler and Lily Tomlin are very funny. Everytime I pass by the Plaze Hotel in NYC, It reminds me of Big Business.

I thought it was great that they all got a 'new' man!

Of course it was meant to happen! The whole plot is about how some of them "weren't living the life they were supposed to", and thus it made sense to show that even their (original) boyfriends were "wrong" for them.

Looks like somebody missed the point.

I think they change boyfriends because they realise that the different men suited them better than the boyfriends they had.

That is actually not true: Rose Ratcliff also doesn't seem to be very interested in her twin's ex-boyfriend like how she is leaving the hotel with the doctor pretty much says it all.

So the only women, who actually start liking the other partners are Sadie Ratcliff and Rose Shelton, who were growing up at the wrong places. I thought, that for reason they are better girlfriends, because they have included both sides (the country and business lifestyle). Another reason would be, that they
would originally date the guys, if they would be growing up where they should belong in the first place.
