This movie is bad
I really enjoy Debra Winger's pictures, however, this one came up short. Her acting in this movie is awful. John Heard is totally overacting as well. Tom Beringer has the only good role in this flick.
shareDebra Winger did a great job, as she always does. In fact it's a miracle she managed to give such a strong performance in such a muddled mess of a film. She has an automatic disadvantage in that it's far easier to believe her as smart, strong women than someone who is as weak, stupid and incompetent as the Catherine Weaver character in Betrayed. I would say Winger is the only reason to see this film.

Well come one, Berenger ain`t that bad either, he does a very satisfying role in my opinion.
The story and script is so so I guess but considering the acting they work well together and that is what I like about this movie.
Yeah, Tom Berenger did a good job here too. He did the best he could with limited material to work with. I only meant that comment about Debra Winger because I'm a big Debra fan myself.

I ordered the movie yesterday by the way, haven`t seen it for quite a few years so I`m looking forward to it.
I've only just read your post, yes almost 9 years later I know, what did you think of the film I haven't seen it since 1993/4 when I rented it from ritz video in Irvine.
