One of the great Burton and Keaton pairings.

I just love this film. It was one of my favorite movies growing up and has such a wonderful cast. Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin were great but Michael Keaton f ucking rocked it as Beetlejuice. I wish they did a sequel to this movie because it deserves one but it might've been too long since the first to get one.

This was also back in the days where Tim Burton was at his peak in terms of directing. His visual style is one that cannot be beaten. Too bad his last recent films have sucked.

Apparently as of this year, there is a sequel confirmed.

If a sequel is made (would have been better 20, maybe 15 years ago), I hope its visual style is closer to the original than any of Burton's recent movies. I'm not counting on it.

If you're familiar with the original sequel Burton did have planed back then you wouldn't be saying that. lol Betelgeuse goes to Hawaii and surfs!! sounds horrible.
