Catherine O'Hara and Glenn Shadix are like, the worst actors ever

Especially when they are in the same film with Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis and Winona Ryder.

reply

Like, really? Like.

Disagree, especially about Catherine O Hara she is one of the most talented actresses to grace a movie screen. She plays the role of the mom so well. Loved Glenn Shadix as well seeing as he had some of the best lines including "don't mind her, she's still upset because someone dropped a house on her sister" and "Ooh look, Ozzie and Harriet."

reply

I agree, JSN. She is magic on the screen. She cracks me up in this film. Everyone in this film is fantastic.

Anyone who'd describe Catherine O'Hara among "worst actors ever" obviously was never a fan/viewer of SCTV where she so excellently portrayed so many diverse characters.

reply

Are you insane? They are both good.
I specially like the Otho character. Hydrated chromic oxide indeed!

reply

I couldn't agree more. Catherine O'Hara and Glenn Shadix played their parts perfectly as they were written. It is a social comedy after all. Catherine refers to "an indoor outhouse" for instance. How can you beat that?

reply

Lol "I was a hair analyst, briefly."

Catherine O'Hara was brilliant in this film! And she looked amazing.

Catherine O'Hara has always been great. She and Andrea Martin on "SCTV" were brilliant and versatile in the 'boys club' of sketch comedy.

reply

Ehh, sure they don't get paid as much as the ones you mentioned but in this film everyone was pretty game.

Catherine O'Hara is awesome. Not just in this movie, but in pretty much everything she has done. *beep* Creek is hysterical! Her timing is brilliant.

reply

What an utterly stupid thing to say. Like totally.

Shadix was class!
