It's sad that they let a man come between their friendship.
It's sad but definitely not uncommon for a man to come between girlfriends. I'm glad that they got some peace with each other though.

When Hillary comes to visit, Hillary has changed from the peace-loving for the people type of lawyer into everything she ever hated...it just took C.C to point it out. A man was just a metaphor for the built up jealousies between the two friends.
