Who would you choose as the main cast for a remake.

Take into consideration that CC should sing.

I could choose Sandra Bullock as Hillary if she were a bit younger...

Agreed. Who else but Bette can play that part? Who's equally good at comedy, drama, AND singing? She really put a one-of-a-kind stamp on that one in that movie.

According to today's news, there will be a Lifetime remake in 2017 with Idina Menzel as CC.

I saw that! I think Idina is a great actress & singer, but I still think it's a stupid idea to remake it.

I can't see the point of the remake. Bette and Barbara were perfectly cast in the original and I simply can't envisage anyone else in the roles.

Anyone else trying to sing Wind Beneath My Wings won't be able to do it justice. Replaying Bette's version in the remake would be "off" IMO.

Last time I checked Hillary is and was white. So who's fn idea is it to make her Black???????

I have no problem with her being black. She's a woman and her color is of no consequence.
