is it worth the watch?
sharei saw it years ago - shortly after it was released - and remember thinking it was really great. all the people i watched it with were really keen on it as well, as best as i can recall.
that would be over 30 years ago, so i am not going to 100% stand by my vague memory of this thing, but it's definitely a film that left an impression, unlike the majority that enter and leave my brain without making any kind of lasting impact.
i'd like to see it again, but i never see it pop up in the streaming world.
it is difficult to find for some reason.

i have to admit i was a touch underwhelmed. not that i thought it was bad or anything. it was fine. quite good. but it definitely did live up to my memory of it as a tight, taut, creepy thriller. it was a bit meandering and had some elements that didn't really all come together for me.
absolutely worth a watch, still. colin firth is fun to watch as the fussy, stick up his butt lead.
