I know that after the release of "Apartment Zero" there was a rush to make a less homo erotic and more female oriented version of Zero. The result was "Single White Female" Pretty lame if you ask me.
Then John Schlesiger confessed in an interview that he loved "Apartment Zero" and that he made "Pacific Heights" inspired by "Apartment Zero"
