Bypassed in the past

This movie came out the year I graduated and I never had a desire to see it back then. Over the past 20 years I got bits and pieces here and there on cable, ect but never saw the film in it's entirety. I sat down the other night with nothing else to do and ran through the netflix on demand sci fi movies and decided to watch this. I'm glad i did! This is a very enjoyable movie. Granted not much original is going on but it is still worth watching. The dialog between Patinkin and Caan is great!.

Mathew: Well it's made out of rubber so it stretches.
George: And still it fits?

I laughed like hell at that line.

There are some excellent lines but that one is probably my favourite!

There's a great subtle line when they go to interview the stripper - after George introduces Matt Sykes, you can hear the stripper laugh *beep* while they keep talking.

I graduated that same year also,, and I loved the film,, seen it 2 or 3 times now,, and it get's better every view,, i'm a huge James Caan fan
