Without a doubt Seagals best film

My topic title is a fact.

This and Out for Justice are Seagals best, and really his only genuinely good movies. They have decent plots, decent acting, the best action scenes out of any of his films, and contain very little cornball/cheesy stuff.

I agree. Watching it now. Some stupid stuff you notice...but deserves a 7 at least...

I agree, it seems like there was more effort placed on writing a script and fleshing out the characters, rather than simply giving Seagal a steady barrage of numbskulls to beat up on. If only they'd filmed a decent climax, rather than having Nico easily dispatching all of the bad guys in less than 15 seconds (I assume that's where the producers ran out of money), we'd have a true action masterpiece on our hands.

And I'd like to see a director's cut with more scenes featuring that sleazy bartender guy.

"Hey, hey, don't do me ugly!"

OUT FOR JUSTICE!!!!! That film is the best EVER!!! SEAGAL is so hardcore and the villian is super-crazy!

Death to videodrome! Long live the new flesh!!!

Awww I was just about to do a thread saying the same thing:)

So yeah, I totally agree, I watched this again last night and its still an bloody good action movie.
And yes Out for Justice is up there as well but I also thought that Marked for Death was bloody good too.
Glimmer Man and Underseige are his last best ones.

After those, he's just gone soft.
And lately all his fight scenes are no gun fights, not fist fights, which is a dam shame.

Interesting that his very first film is his best eh...

I liked Hard to Kill and Marked for Death better, but that still isn't saying much. The Glimmer Man is pretty close to this level as well.

"Attempted murder? Now honestly, what is that? Do they give a Nobel Prize for attempted chemistry?"
