wtf?

i love this film as a kid it was one of my top action films and i watched it many times the fight scenes are awesome and at the time so unique as i had never seen an aikido fight before it reminds me of when ong bak came out and i hadn't seen muay thai like that. i really like the political aspect to the plot, it's nice to think that there are some genuinley good guys out there who arent corruptable and care for the little guy. it is also has a great bad guy. henry silva was very evil in this film although it always reminds me of code of silence as his baddie is very similar in that. i used to get mixed up with the columbian neck tie scene used to mistake it for that. now with such a great intimidating bad guy with links to the cia, i have to wonder what the *beep* is he doing hanging about with a low life scum barman? i've seen this movie so many times but never realised till now how *beep* stupid this movie is.
